Major Activities
Asset Protection Operation:
- Manage and partner with Asset Protection Alarm vendor and liaison to make critical business decisions and solve complex problems to ensure that issues are resolved completely, timely and are in full compliance to legal requirements so that stores can stay open.
- Lead the completion of new store installations, special projects, and timely resolution of service calls with the partnership of Asset Protection closed circuit television vendor (CCTV). Provide updates to the field team to include Asset Protection, District Manager and Store Teams.
- Manage the Asset Protection Security Guard vendors to ensure adequate service for all stores with Security and respond quickly and make decisions with little guidance in emergency situations.
- Work closely with Asset Protection Manager to find innovative solutions to solve complex problems related to shrink and physical security.
- Own the Asset Protection email box and communicate to stores and business partners including detailed follow-up on all outstanding issues.
- Partner with key stakeholders to identify trends with shrink related to physical security protection. Provide analytical insight, through reporting and key performance indicators.
- Work with Investigations and Legal to support needs for video and access to systems.
- Own the Asset Protection alarm permit program to ensure legal compliance for all stores.
Project Management:
- Manage CCTV projects, including problem solving, course correcting, and decision making to ensure projects are effective, on time, and on budget.
- Manage EAS installation projects, including problem solving and decision making by working with Facilities to ensure installations are completed correctly, on time, on budget, and meet legal requirements and specifications.
- Manage Fire Alarm installation projects, solving for complex issues that involve cross-functional partners and local fire authorities.
- Manage EAS source tagging initiatives by working with Merchants, Vendors, and Suppliers to achieve a global merchandise protection solution.
- Manage Merchandise Protection vendors and support stores with ensuring they have adequate supplies.
- Manage merchandise protection initiatives and work closely with key stakeholders to ensure product in stores is protected, and source solutions for new products.
Misc. Duties:
- Maintain store files and set up new store files.
- Order Asset Protection office supplies for the department.
- Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education Â
- Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice or related field preferred
- Relevant experience can be substituted for this requirement
Minimum Special Certifications or Technical Skills Â
- Proficient with MS Office Professional Suite, including intermediate knowledge of Excel
Minimum Type of Experience the Job Requires  Â
- 3+ years in Loss Prevention, Asset Protection or related field
- Familiarity with security equipment such as intrusion detection devices, access control systems, EAS and CCTV
