Temporary Transportation and Production Specialist

Position Overview   

Reporting to the Director of Transportation, the Temporary Transportation & Production Specialist will be responsible for supporting activities related to inbound transportation and production. On occasion, this position will act as a liaison with Kendra Scott vendors and business partners, both internal and external. This is a high-energy environment seeking a passionate supply chain professional to join our team! 

Responsibilities:  

Production Support (50%) 

• Assist with purchase order data organization and input into our software system- Oracle MFCS 

• Assist in auditing purchase order data in MFCS. 

Transportation Support (50%) 

• Updates tracking documents and communicates with cross-functional teams daily regarding inbound shipments 

• Engages freight provider to book LTL/FTL shipments as requested from cross-functional teams 

• Submits and monitors outbound package claims. 

• Processes and maintains records for transportation invoices 

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:  

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience 

• 1+ years’ experience in a supply chain support role or 1+ years' experience in a compliance-based role 

• Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Applications 

• Analytical/Strong Attention to detail 

• Excels in a fast-paced environment  

• Strong communicator and collaborator
