Roles & Responsibilities
- For project of diverse scope and complexity
- Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization to provide product and user experience solutions to meet the business needs
- Develops high level business requirements and translates them into functional specifications for the IT organization and manages changes to such specifications
- Prepares requirements, specifications, business process, and recommendations
- Uses skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures
- Resolves a wide range of issues in innovative and practical ways
- Strong knowledge of product management best practices, functional design, and application delivery methodology
- Understands basic project management methodology
- Customer focused with high quality standards
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal, business communication and writing skills
- Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
- Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
- Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise
- Strong decision-making capabilities will result in meeting schedules and/or functional goals of department/unit
- Frequently interacts with customers, and/or functional peer group IC'S/managers, normally involving matters between department and other functional areas or internal customers
- Regularly participates in a cooperative effort among members of a project team
- May receive some instruction on day-to-day work, but receives general instructions on new assignments and areas of higher complexity
Must have
- Experience with ordering circuits, turning down the circuits working w/ vendors, etc. (MUST HAVE CIRCUIT LEVEL EXP)
- Managing inventory
- Very strong with Excel - not negotiable
- Experience with queries for large databases
- Being able to work with large amounts of data
- Must be able to provide data on cost and how much things are costing the company to leadership
- Access database experience
- This person will be working with telecom carriers for provisioning
- Experience with Carriers such as: AT&T, Telecommunication, and Comcast are a HUGE plus
- Soft Skills are EXTREMELY important
