Role overview
 

We're looking for a Senior Product Designer who owns problems end to end, from an ambiguous starting point through to delivered solution. 

You'll be joining a small design team withinTeckro's product organisation, where every designer's contribution within the larger organisation is visible and impactful. 

We are also looking for someone who will help
drive
how our design team adopts AIto automate routine, non-consequential parts of design, sowe focus on the parts that really matter.  

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

Design leadership and execution 

• Lead end-to-end design process from discovery to delivery across multiple product areas, planning your own work 
• Contribute to andmaintain our design system 
• Promote best practice in quality,accessibility and usability 
• Lead AI tool adoption in the team: find where it automates routine work, assess how tools fit our workflow, and bring colleagues with you 

Discovery and problem definition 

• Frame ambiguous requests into clear problems,identify unknowns, and drive open questions to resolution 
• Explore and present multiple approaches before recommending one 
• Revise your approach asnew information
  emerges, without waiting for requirements to settle 

Stakeholder ownership and collaboration 

• Identify independently who needs to be involved in a project and at what point, and keep stakeholders engaged throughout 
• Follow up and secure the input and agreement your work depends on 
• Communicate design rationale persuasively to technical, non-technical and senior audiences, balancing user,business and technical needs 

Domainexpertise and team contribution 

• Become a subject-matter expert in clinical research, a complex regulated domain, through self-directed learning 
• Bring thatexpertise into stakeholder discussions, designreviews and planning 
• sessions 
• Mentor designers and colleagues on design best practice, leading by example 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED 

• 6-8 years as a product designer, UX/UI designer, or similar 
• A strong portfolio of end-to-end web and mobile product design, covering discovery and definition, not solely final UI 
• Demonstrable experience leading discovery: defining problems, exploring multiple directions, aligning stakeholders on an approach 
• Experience working with and contributing to a design system 
• Practical use of AI tools in a design or product workflow to optimise and automate low-level work, plus the appetite to lead team-wide adoption 
• Proven ability to lead design in fast-paced, agile environments 
• Strong grounding in interaction design, visual design,accessibility and information architecture 

Nice to have 

• Experience in clinical research, life sciences, or another complex or regulated domain OREvidence of building deepexpertise in a
  complex domain through self-directed learning 
• Experience presenting directly to executive stakeholders 
• Mentorship experience 

Location and Travel: 
(Dublin) 

• Hybrid role -based in our Dublin City Centre office which islocated close to Pearse Station & beside the Alex Hotel, making it accessible for all major transport.
