Detailed Job Description
Perform design analysis, documentation, testing, implementation and support for BMC Mainview in the mainframe systems environmentConsult and provide customized recommendations to the installation team based on experience within the BMC monitoring toolInstall and manage mainframe software deployments in a highly granular SYSPLEX environmentMaintain high quality and consistency of systems software and automation processesEnhance installation scripts, reporting and automation using supported mainframe tools such as JCL, REXX, SAS, SQL, PYTHON and JavaJavascriptComplete assignments by due dates, without detailed supervisionAligns risk and control processes into daytoday responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk escalates appropriatelyActively engage in strategic goals for mainframe engineering, the department and organization specific to the BMC Mainview installation ie Mainview Explorer or Mainview ViewerProvide input and followthrough for continuous improvement to mainframe systems engineering processes and proceduresPerform troubleshooting for BMC Mainview
