Technology Lead

Job Description

Location: Mexico City (Hybrid – Infosys Office or Client Office)

English communication required

We are seeking an experienced Java Lead Developer with strong hands-on expertise in enterprise application development and user interface implementation for both web and mobile web applications. The ideal candidate will have experience developing large-scale applications, translating business requirements into technical solutions, and working across modern application development frameworks and technologies.

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent collaboration, relationship-building, and organizational abilities.
• 5+ years of experience translating functional product requirements into application-layer code and visual designs into functional user interfaces for traditional web applications.
• Experience with large-scale software development or application engineering, including recent hands-on coding experience.
• Strong experience with Java, J2EE, Spring Framework (Spring MVC, Spring Security, Aspects, etc.), JPA, JSF, JUnit, Web Services (SOAP & REST), JSON/XML, JBoss, Log4j, Eclipse STS, SQL, and Oracle Database Server.
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AngularJS, KarmaJS, and jQuery.
• Experience with API development (REST & SOAP), design patterns, and distributed transactions.
• Good exposure to Agile software development and DevOps practices, including Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Continuous Integration, and automated deployments.
• Strong understanding of the Testing Pyramid, including Unit Testing, Functional Testing, Contract Testing, Integration Testing, and Test-Driven Development (TDD) using JUnit and Mockito.
• Experience contributing to the establishment and application of policies and standards related to cloud technologies.
• Experience with performance optimization, architecture and design, and code review practices.
