Pay Range: $45 - $50/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop Python applications for automation and AWS Lambda.
  • Implement AWS services including Lambda, IAM, EventBridge, SNS, SQS, CloudWatch, S3, DynamoDB, and KMS.
  • Design and execute event-driven and serverless automation solutions at enterprise scale.
  • Utilize infrastructure-as-code tools such as CloudFormation and/or AWS CDK.
  • Manage Git-based CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes.
  • Apply cloud security posture management concepts, including misconfiguration alerts and automated remediation.
  • Maintain a disciplined testing approach, including unit tests and non-production dry-run validation, in an Agile delivery environment.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
  • 6+ years of technology experience.
  • Proficiency in Python development for automation and AWS Lambda.
  • Experience with AWS services: Lambda, IAM, EventBridge, SNS, SQS, CloudWatch, S3, DynamoDB, KMS.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (CloudFormation and/or AWS CDK) and Git-based CI/CD pipelines.
  • Understanding of cloud security posture management concepts.
  • Familiarity with testing disciplines, including unit tests and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with CNAPP or CSPM tooling (Prisma Cloud, Wiz, Upwind, Cortex Cloud).
  • Familiarity with Client or Jira API integration for alerting and ticketing.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging technologies like NewRelic.
  • Experience with AWS SDK for Python (boto3) and AWS services such as ELB, API Gateway, CloudFront, EC2, RDS.
