Who we are:

As a global leader in digital infrastructure, QTS designs, builds and operates advanced data centers that support strategic AI, cloud and digital transformation initiatives. We are driven by a mission to connect the world for good and our people make it possible. Every single day, the creativity, dedication and genuine care for our communities are what push us forward and make this a truly special place to be.

The Technical System Analyst – Oracle Fusion Financials is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for end‑to‑end ownership, stability, and evolution of Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials at QTS. This role serves as the functional and solution authority across Record‑to‑Report (R2R), Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P), and related financial domains, ensuring that Oracle Fusion Financials enables scalable growth, strong controls, and operational excellence.

This position blends deep functional expertise, production ownership, and strategic leadership. The Lead Engineer partners closely with Finance and Accounting leadership, Enterprise IT, Data & Analytics, and system integrators to drive standardization, resolve complex issues, guide enhancements, and ensure QTS operates on a stable, compliant, and trusted financial platform.

This role is ideal for a senior Oracle Fusion Financials resource who wants true ownership, visibility, and impact - not just system support.

Key Responsibilities

Oracle Fusion Financials Leadership & Ownership

  • Serve as the functional owner for Oracle Fusion Financials, including:
    • General Ledger (GL)
    • Accounts Payable (AP)
    • Accounts Receivable (AR)
    • Cash Management
    • Fixed Assets
    • Subledger Accounting (SLA)
  • Own end‑to‑end financial process design, configuration standards, and support strategy.
  • Serve as the highest escalation point for complex or high‑impact financial system issues.
  • Define, document, and enforce functional standards, best practices, and guardrails aligned with Oracle out‑of‑the‑box capabilities.

Financial Operations, Controls & Close Enablement

  • Lead system readiness and operational support for month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close.
  • Partner with Finance and Accounting leadership to ensure:
    • Accurate, timely, and complete financial processing
    • Strong internal controls and audit readiness (SOX, compliance)
    • Scalable Chart of Accounts, ledger structures, and accounting configurations
  • Proactively identify financial system risks, control gaps, and operational inefficiencies, and drive mitigation plans.

Integrations, Enhancements & Architecture Collaboration

  • Lead functional design and impact assessment for integrations involving Oracle Fusion Financials, including upstream and downstream systems.
  • Partner with Solution Architects, Integration Engineers, and Data teams to:
    • Define financial data flows and reconciliation strategies
    • Ensure data accuracy across ERP, integrations, and analytics platforms
  • Review and approve functional designs for enhancements, extensions, and configuration changes.
  • Guide regression testing, release readiness, and remediation activities for Oracle quarterly updates.

Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across financial processes, system usage, and user experience.
  • Lead root‑cause analysis for recurring or systemic issues and ensure permanent resolution, not workarounds.
  • Define, maintain, and mature:
    • Runbooks
    • SOPs
    • Support and escalation models
  • Improve support efficiency, system reliability, and overall platform maturity.

Leadership, Mentorship & Stakeholder Management

  • Provide functional leadership and mentorship to Senior and Junior Engineers supporting Oracle Fusion Financials.
  • Review solution designs, configurations, and deliverables to ensure quality and alignment with standards.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to Finance, Accounting, and IT leadership.
  • Coordinate with vendors and implementation partners on enhancements, remediation efforts, and strategic initiatives

Skills & Capabilities

  • Deep expertise in enterprise financial processes and accounting principles.
  • Strong hands‑on experience configuring and supporting Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials.
  • Proven ability to lead complex problem resolution and make sound functional decisions.
  • Ability to balance hands‑on execution with strategic ownership and leadership.
  • Strong communication skills across executive, business, and technical audiences.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast‑growing enterprise environments.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, MIS, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience supporting Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials or comparable enterprise ERP financial platforms.
  • Experience leading Oracle Fusion Financials re‑implementations, upgrades, or major enhancements.
  • Demonstrated ownership of financial system domains in production environments.
  • Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials certification(s) preferred.
  • Strong experience with:
    • Incident, problem, and change management
    • Financial close processes
    • Audit and compliance requirements
    • Integration design and operational support
    • ITIL‑based service management
