Pay Rate: $34.00–$35.00/hr, paid weekly
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Hybrid Schedule: Potential remote work on Mondays & Fridays
Duration: 6-month contract through May 2027

Overview

The Technical Service Representative provides technical support and detailed product information to Field Sales Representatives, Product Managers, end users, architects, and specification engineers. This role helps customers and internal teams properly select, install, troubleshoot, and apply Hubbell Wiring Device-Kellems and Bryant Electric products.

Responsibilities

• Respond to technical inquiries regarding Hubbell Wiring Device-Kellems and Bryant Electric products and applications by phone, email, and fax.

• Provide engineering drawings, installation instructions, wiring diagrams, and other technical documentation as requested.

• Troubleshoot wiring and product application issues with end users, electricians, and engineers.

• Provide competitive product cross-references.

• Support Product Marketing and Engineering by reviewing new and modified product designs for installation, compatibility, and other technical considerations.

• Assist Product Managers and Engineering with the development of catalogs, data sheets, installation instructions, and other printed and electronic product literature.

• Maintain and update online tools and product information on internal and external websites.

• Maintain files and technical information related to codes, UL/CSA standards, federal specifications, trade compliance, and environmental requirements.

• Provide assistance and feedback to the Quality team regarding reported product issues.

• Participate in special projects, training, and other assigned functions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Bachelor of Science degree or technical school education preferred.

• 5+ years of experience within the wiring device industry may be considered.

• Hands-on electrical experience within the wiring device industry or experience as an unlimited licensed electrician familiar with wiring applications is highly desirable.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and technical problem-solving skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to clearly communicate technical information by phone and email.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.

• SAP experience preferred.

• Salesforce experience is a plus.
