Technical Project Manager
The Role
UST is seeking a highly technical and hands-on Technical Project Manager to lead a team in managing end-to-end networking upgrades for one of the leading healthcare providers in the US. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What You’ll Do
·Project Leadership and Execution:
·Lead and manage the networking upgrade team, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
·Develop detailed project plans for networking upgrades, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, and ensure successful execution.
·Utilize your technical background to understand project requirements and provide technical guidance to the team.
·Work as a hands-on technologist when needed, applying technical skills and experience in the development and delivery of upgrade solutions following established methodologies, processes, and practices.

What You Need
·Technical Skills & Knowledge:
·Strong background and deep understanding of the healthcare industry.
·Strong background in data management and data warehousing projects, with familiarity with data warehousing and ETL tools, preferably Ab Initio.
·Strong background in AWS infrastructure and related migration projects.
·Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
·Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Microsoft Project).
·Working knowledge of UNIX systems and databases (e.g., DB2, Postgres).
·Expertise in planning and managing networking upgrades, including data encryption and hardware upgrades.
·Ability to assess the impact of upgrades and develop mitigation strategies.
·Experience in developing and delivering training programs related to networking upgrades.
·Knowledge of business intelligence and analytics tools such as Cognos or Tableau.
·Awareness of security standards in data handling.
·Experience:
·Minimum 10 years of IT industry experience, including application system design and implementation.
·Experience in managing ETL and data warehousing projects.
·Experience in the healthcare industry, including knowledge of medical and prescription claims processing, healthcare enrollments, and provider operations.
·Experience in managing projects with multiple release streams, including soliciting business priorities, organizing scope into releases, building roadmaps, managing scope changes, and communicating with leadership and technical teams.
·Experience in managing projects that handle PHI (Protected Health Information) and PII (Personally Identifiable Information) and sensitive data.
·Experience managing technical estimates, including estimation planning and managing the technical team to deliver estimates.
·Experience in building a culture of continuous improvement, identifying opportunities for project/program technical delivery improvements, including process improvements, quality management improvements, knowledge sharing/management improvements, collaboration tool improvements, and program reporting tool improvements.
·Educational Qualifications:
·Required: bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
·Preferred: master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
·PMP certification in mandatory
Location & Compensation
Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.
Role Location: Remote - US
Compensation Range: $88,000-$132,000
