If you have: Â

Greater than 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing industry that uses cutting tools and abrasivesÂ
-
At least 5 years of machining experienceÂ
-
Must have strong technical knowledge of cutting tools, PPE, abrasives, and cutting tool applicationsÂ
-
Process improvement experienceÂ
-
Knowledge of cutting tool geometryÂ
-
Knowledge of cutting tool manufacturersÂ
-
Knowledge of the aerospace market a plusÂ
-
Excellent customer service and communication skills.Â
-
Strong mathematical skillsÂ
-
Experience with multi-axis machine tool programing a plusÂ
-
Ability to interpret complex prints and modelsÂ
-
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPointÂ
-
Must be able to perform duties with minimal supervisionÂ

Data analysisÂ

Ability to lead projects; results orientedÂ

 A typical day may look like this: Â

Ensure all tooling released to production meets customer’s requirementsÂ
-
Routine, basic inspection of tooling Â

Assist with tooling performance checksÂ
-
Works with engineers to determine tooling needsÂ
-
Troubleshooting of issues relating to product applicationsÂ
-
Application support of new productsÂ
-
Improve existing processes and applications by reviewing objectives and specificationsÂ
-
Recommend changes and make modifications to tooling, applications and processes of machining as neededÂ
-
Support of reconditioning programÂ
-
Facilitation of manufacturer visits and the introduction of their products to the customerÂ
-
Facilitate corrective action programÂ
-
Performs other duties as assigned by ManagementÂ
