We are now looking for a Technical Product Manager with a focus on lignin, a key product in our ambition to develop renewable alternatives to fossil-based materials.

As we build the bioproducts business of the future, we are embarking on an exciting journey, with our lignin production set to start in 2027. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring that our products meet market needs while contributing to Södra’s long-term profitable growth.

What you´ll be working with at Södra

AsTechnicalProductManager, you willberesponsiblefortheproductportfolioandactasthenaturallinkbetweencustomers,sales,production,anddevelopment.YouwillensurethatourproductsaredevelopedanddeliveredinlinewithbothcustomerneedsandSödra’sbusinessobjectives.

Yourkeyresponsibilitieswillinclude:

• Takingresponsibilityfortheligninproductarea,withtheopportunitytoexpandintootherbioproductsovertime.

• Workingcloselywithcustomerstounderstandtheirneedsandtranslatethemintoproductrequirementsandsolutions.

• Participatingincustomerdiscussionsandnegotiationstogetherwiththeresponsiblesalesrepresentatives.

• Actingasthekeyinterfacebetweenourcustomers’operationsandourproductionunits.

• Drivingcustomerprojectsanddevelopmentinitiativesthatcreateaddedvalue.

• Coordinatingandleadingproductforumsandcontributingtoinnovationanddevelopmentactivities.

• Ensuringtherightproduct,quality,andvolumeinlinewithmarketdemand.

Theroleinvolvesextensivecollaborationwithbothinternalandexternalstakeholdersandisidealforsomeonewhothrivesattheintersectionoftechnology,business,andrelationships.

Thisisafull-time,permanentposition.Thelocationwillbeagreeduponwiththesuccessfulcandidate.

Who are we looking for?

Wearelookingforsomeonewithexperienceinligninwhoisexcitedaboutdevelopinganareawithsignificantfuturepotential.Youmaycurrentlybeworkingwithinproductdevelopment,businessdevelopment,theprocessindustry,ortechnicalsales.

Tosucceedinthisrole,webelieveyouhave:

• Experienceworkingwithlignin,eitherfromacommercialordevelopmentperspective.

• Agoodunderstandingofhowakraftpulpmilloperates.

• Experienceworkingcloselywithcustomersandbuildinglong-termrelationships.

• Theabilitytodriveprojectsandtakeinitiativesfromideathroughtoimplementation.

• FluencyinEnglish,bothspokenandwritten.

• AwillingnessandambitiontolearnSwedishwithinyourfirstyear.

• Avaliddrivinglicence.

Youarecurious,innovative,andproactive.Youenjoyexploringnewopportunitiesandarecomfortabletakingownershipevenwhenthepathforwardisnotfullydefined.
