About The Job:

• Experience: 8–10 Years
• We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Lead – IoT Embedded Applications with 8–10 years of experience in designing and developing embedded and edge software solutions.
• This role is primarily focused on software architecture, system design, and technical leadership for next-generation IoT platforms.
• The ideal candidate will combine strong hands-on development expertise with the ability to lead technical design discussions, define scalable architectures, mentor engineers, and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience in industrial connectivity, edge computing, and Linux-based embedded systems is essential.

Essential Job Functions:
Architecture & Design Leadership

• Own the architecture and design of IoT Edge and Embedded software solutions.
• Drive technical design reviews and establish engineering best practices.
• Define scalable, secure, and maintainable software architectures for distributed IoT deployments.
• Translate business and product requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Lead proof-of-concepts, technology evaluations, and architectural decision-making.
• Mentor engineers on software design patterns, coding standards, and system architecture.

Embedded Software Development

• Design and develop high-performance applications for Linux-based embedded platforms.
• Build scalable edge applications using:
  • Go
  • C/C++
  • Rust
  • Python
• Leverage modern AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor to improve productivity and code quality.
• Optimize applications for ARM and AMD-based hardware platforms.
• Develop multi-threaded, event-driven, and distributed edge applications.

Connectivity & Messaging

• Design and implement communication frameworks using:
  • MQTT
  • Sparkplug B
  • JSON-Based Messaging
• Integrate industrial communication protocols such as:
  • Modbus (Nice to Have)
  • CCN (Nice to Have)
• Develop reliable Edge-to-Cloud telemetry and command/control communication architectures.

DevOps & Automation

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using CircleCI.
• Drive automation of build, test, deployment, and release processes.
• Promote DevOps practices across the software development lifecycle.
• Ensure software quality through automated testing and continuous delivery.

Device Lifecycle Management

• Define deployment and software update strategies using Canonical Snaps.
• Design solutions for remote monitoring, diagnostics, and fleet management.
• Enable secure and scalable lifecycle management for connected edge devices.
