Technical Lead - Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Technical Lead - Hybrid for a contract to hire opportunity with a Major Financial Institution located in Brooklyn, OH.

This role is part of the Real Estate Capital Originations Technology team, which delivers and supports platforms for the Commercial Real Estate (CRE) lending business. The IT Technical Lead will be responsible for the architecture, development, and continuous improvement of solutions supporting these lending operations. This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days onsite.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical strategy and architecture for originations applications and integrations
• Design scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions supporting commercial real estate lending processes
• Define application architecture standards, integration patterns, and engineering best practices
• Lead development, enhancement, implementation, and support activities across the technology ecosystem
• Collaborate with product owners and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Serve as the technical subject matter expert for commercial credit underwriting and supporting applications
• Mentor developers and engineers while fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence
• Promote Agile delivery practices and continuous improvement across the development lifecycle

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience
• 8+ years of application development, systems integration, or software engineering experience
• 3+ years of technical leadership experience leading development teams or large-scale technology initiatives
• Experience designing and supporting enterprise applications in complex environments
• Strong experience with .NET / C#, REST APIs and service-oriented architectures, SQL and relational databases
• Experience with system integrations and middleware technologies, CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Knowledge of cloud and SaaS application architectures and tools like Git, Azure DevOps, or GitLab
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and best practices
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and leadership skills

Desired skills:

• Commercial lending or Commercial Real Estate lending technology experience
• Experience with commercial credit underwriting platforms
• Knowledge of CRE origination, underwriting, credit approval, and portfolio management processes
• Experience integrating third-party SaaS platforms with enterprise applications
• Familiarity with enterprise data integration, cloud platforms, and modern API architectures
• Experience supporting regulatory, risk, and compliance requirements within financial services
• Architecture certification or advanced technical certifications preferred

Pay range:$70.00 per hour
