Responsibilities

Support accounting activities by preparing monthly journal entries and reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with regional requirements.

Collaborate closely with business teams to evaluate business scenarios and propose appropriate accounting treatments in downstream systems.

Analyze complex business transactions and provide accounting treatment evaluations in compliance with local and international accounting standards.

Work with the Accounting Lead on cross-functional special projects, including accounting policy updates, system improvements, and internal control enhancements.

Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, translating accounting implications into business-friendly language.

Assist in the preparation and coordination of annual external audits.

Qualifications

Must have a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, or a related field, and 1 year of related work experience; OR, a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience.

Of the required experience, must have 1 year of experience in each of the following:

Performing advanced quantitative analysis -- including Excel-based financial modeling -- to analyze a large quantity of financial, product, and operational data; to uncover business insights; and to inform resource allocation;

Managing projects to formulate workplans, drive alignment, coordinate collaboration, and deliver strategic business outcomes;

Performing accounting and financial data analysis to support management extract data from corresponding reports and databases using Microsoft Office and Excel;

Researching and interpreting US and international accounting standards, and tax regulations and rules, including US GAAP; and

Preparing corporate financial statements, including cash flow and balance sheet statements, following US GAAP rules.
