We are seeking aTechnical Documentation Specialist with strongSAP Plant Maintenance (PM) experience to support our client’s startup of a new production line. This remote contract role is ideal for a self-directed professional who can interpret equipment documentation, create equipment BOMs, and establish preventive maintenance programs within SAP.

Location: Remote
Duration:Approximately November 2026 - April 2027 | Up to 40 hours/week
Pay: $30.00-$34.60 per hour, based on experience, technical expertise, industry background, and overall qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

Create and maintainEquipment Bills of Materials (BOMs) in SAP using equipment manuals and vendor documentation.
Register new parts in SAP while preventing duplicate records.
Build and configureTime-Based Maintenance (PM02) plans for new production equipment.
Collaborate with project stakeholders to prioritize work and provide weekly progress updates.
Support maintenance readiness and equipment reliability before line launch.

Required Qualifications

Hands-on experience creatingEquipment BOMs in SAP.
Knowledge of SAP processes for new part creation and duplicate prevention.
Experience creatingPM02 Time-Based Maintenance plans/work orders.
Ability to independently interpret equipment manuals and BOM documentation.
Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
Ability to work remotely on CDT for Iowa business hours.
