Our client is seeking an experiencedTechnical Business Analyst with strongFixed Income and Trade Surveillanceexperience to support an urgent initiative within the capital markets environment.
Key Responsibilities & Qualifications

Strong hands-on experience as aBusiness Analyst within Fixed Income / Capital Markets
Solid understanding ofFixed Income trading products and trade lifecycle, including bonds, rates, credit, and related instruments
Experience supportingTrade Surveillance / Market Surveillance platforms, controls, alerts, and monitoring workflows
Gather and translate business and regulatory requirements into detailedfunctional and technical specifications
Work closely withTrading, Compliance, Surveillance, Technology, and Data teams
Analyze trade/order data, surveillance scenarios, alerts, and data flows to identify gaps and support enhancements
Strong technical/data analysis skills, ideally includingSQL, data mapping, querying, and large trade datasets
Experience withBRDs, functional specifications, user stories, process flows, UAT, and defect management
Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge business, compliance, and technology stakeholders

Ideal Background:Capital Markets / Investment Banking experience with a strong combination ofFixed Income domain knowledge, Trade Surveillance expertise, and technical BA skills.
