Mission
We are looking for ahands-on Operations / Lean / Supply Chain professional to workon site at Keenfinity Ovar, providing technical and analytical support across three areas:
- 40% – Ovar Plant Manager: operational excellence, factory performance, lean assessment and execution support.
- 20% – Operations General Manager: cross-functional operations improvement, standards, performance management and strategic initiatives.
- 40% – WW Supply Chain / Stocks Improvement Program: inventory analytics, DIO reduction, root-cause analysis, best-practice definition and deployment across the global manufacturing network.
The role is expected to befact-based, analytical and hands-on, working directly with the organization to identify gaps, quantify opportunities and drive implementation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Ovar Plant – Operational Excellence | 40%
- Assess the current factory operating model, material flow, planning, logistics and inventory management.
- Identify operational inefficiencies, bottlenecks, waste and opportunities for productivity improvement.
- Analyze shopfloor and supply-chain data to identify root causes, not only symptoms.
- Support Lean initiatives, including flow, WIP, lead time, layout, replenishment and shopfloor management.
- Translate findings intoconcrete actions, owners, timing and expected benefits.
- Coach the local team in practical problem solving and sustainable improvement methods.
- Support the Plant Manager in establishing and tracking operational KPIs.
2. Operations General Management Support | 20%
- Provide independent technical analysis and fact-based recommendations on operational topics.
- Support the definition and deployment of common manufacturing standards and processes.
- Identify improvement opportunities across Operations and challenge existing ways of working.
- Prepare management-level analysis, business cases and implementation roadmaps.
- Support cross-functional initiatives involving Operations, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Planning, Logistics and Industrial Engineering.
3. WW Supply Chain / Stocks Improvement Program | 40%
- Act as atechnical and analytical support resource for the global DIO improvement program.
- Analyze inventory data by plant, customer, material, SKU, supplier and inventory category.
- Identify the main drivers of excess, obsolete, slow-moving and strategic inventory.
- Break down DIO into actionable drivers acrossDemand, Supply, Planning, Purchasing, Production and Logistics.
- Quantify improvement potential and prioritize opportunities based on financial impact.
- Develop dashboards, analytics and management reporting to monitor progress.
- Benchmark performance between plants and identify transferable best practices.
- Support the definition of global DIO reduction standards, KPIs and governance.
- Follow up actions with the plants and challenge deviations from agreed targets.
- Ensure that improvements are translated intosustainable cash and working-capital impact, not only temporary inventory reductions.
What distinguishes you:
- 5+ years of experience in Operations, Lean Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Consulting.
- Strong experience ininventory management and DIO reduction.
- Proven hands-on experience in manufacturing environments, preferablyEMS / electronics / high-mix, low-volume manufacturing.
- Strong analytical capabilities and ability to work with large datasets.
- Excellent understanding ofMRP, planning parameters, safety stock, lead times, lot sizes, WIP and inventory segmentation.
- Strong Lean / Operational Excellence background.
- Ability to move fromdata → root cause → action → implementation → measurable result.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with Plant Managers, Operations leaders and Supply Chain teams.
- Comfortable challenging existing processes and ways of working based on facts.
- Advanced Excel and preferably Power BI / data analytics capabilities.
- Fluent English.
