Team Member Services Specialist – Hillcrest Health & Living

Location: Bellevue, NE
Service Line: Hillcrest Health & Living – Home Office
Schedule: Full-Time

Hillcrest Health & Living is looking for an experienced, personable, and highly organizedTeam Member Services Specialist to join our Human Resources team.

This is a great opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys variety and wants to be involved in the full team-member experience. From onboarding and benefits to leaves of absence, employee relations, COBRA, ADA accommodations, and team-member questions, you will be a key resource for both employees and leaders across the organization.

What You’ll Do

As aTeam Member Services Specialist, you will support team members and leaders across a variety of Human Resources functions while helping keep important HR processes accurate, compliant, and moving forward.

You will:

  • Support the post-offer hiring and pre-onboarding process for new team members.
  • Assist with new-hire documentation, employee files, and required employment records.
  • Support General Onboarding activities and help ensure new team members are ready for a successful first day.
  • Maintain accurate team-member information within the HRIS.
  • Assist team members with benefits questions, enrollment, eligibility, and deductions.
  • SupportCOBRA administration, including required notices, enrollment, and related processes.
  • Facilitate and trackFMLA and other leave-of-absence requests.
  • Support theADA interactive process, including accommodation requests, documentation, and coordination with team members and leaders.
  • Serve as a resource for team members and leaders regarding HR policies, procedures, and general employee questions.
  • Provide support withemployee relations matters, including performance concerns, workplace issues, coaching, and documentation.
  • Partner with leaders to help address team-member concerns consistently and professionally.
  • Conduct exit interviews and help identify trends or opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist with Workers’ Compensation and unemployment processes.
  • Complete and distribute HR reports, including performance-review tracking and other team-member reports.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
  • Help identify opportunities to improve HR processes, documentation, and the overall team-member experience.
  • Jump in wherever needed to support the Team Member Services department.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who enjoys being thego-to HR resource for employees and leaders.

The right candidate will be approachable, confident, and able to handle everything from a straightforward benefits question to a more complex employee-relations or leave situation. You should be comfortable working with confidential information, navigating difficult conversations, and balancing multiple priorities without losing attention to detail.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • A minimum of two years of Human Resources experience.
  • Hands-on experience withFMLA and leave-of-absence administration.
  • Experience withCOBRA administration and employee benefits.
  • Working knowledge of theADA accommodation and interactive process.
  • Experience supportingemployee relations, including performance concerns, workplace issues, coaching, and documentation.
  • Strong knowledge of general HR practices and employment policies.
  • Confidence working directly with both employees and leaders.
  • Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally.
  • Strong organization and follow-through.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort learning and working within HRIS and other technology platforms.
  • A proactive, service-focused approach with a natural“How can I help?” mentality.

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of two years of Human Resources experience required.
  • Experience in anHR Generalist, HR Specialist, Employee Relations, Benefits, or similar HR role strongly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience withFMLA, COBRA, ADA accommodations, and employee relations required.
  • Experience with employee benefits, onboarding, HRIS administration, Workers’ Compensation, unemployment, or leave administration preferred.
