About the Role

We're looking for an energetic, engaging and motivated leader to join our Lifestyles team in St Ives.

This role is central to the success of the service, providing day-to-day leadership, fostering strong stakeholder relationships and ensuring exceptional outcomes for the people we support. Working closely with clients, families, House Managers and support teams, you will help create a positive service culture while driving quality, accountability and person-centred practice.

We're seeking someone who is confident leading others, building trusted relationships and taking ownership of operational outcomes. You will be a visible presence within the service, supporting staff performance, strengthening stakeholder engagement and ensuring the service consistently delivers high-quality supports.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who is passionate about leadership, thrives in a people-focused environment and is looking to build a long-term career within Lifestyles. The successful applicant will be an engaging communicator, an effective problem solver and a natural relationship builder who can inspire others, navigate complex situations and maintain a strong focus on both people and outcomes. We are looking for someone who wants to make a genuine impact.

This is a full-time position and requires availability across five days per week (Monday - Friday).

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching and support to Disability Support Practitioners.
  • Support onboarding, mentoring and capability development of new and existing team members.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients, families, advocates and other stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with House Managers and operational leaders to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.
  • Coordinate and support client activities, programs and community engagement opportunities.
  • Assist with workforce planning, rostering support and service continuity.
  • Monitor and maintain service quality, documentation and compliance requirements.
  • Support incident management, risk mitigation and the resolution of service-related issues.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Champion person-centred practices and ensure client goals, preferences and outcomes remain at the forefront of service delivery.
  • Act as a key point of contact within the service and provide leadership support when required.

What We're Looking For

  • Demonstrated experience within the disability, community services or human services sector.
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A natural leader who can motivate, mentor and support others.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach to service delivery.
  • Passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred supports.
  • A desire to grow and develop within a leadership role.

We are doing interviews as applications come through so please apply as soon as possible.
