Team lead - Category

Key Responsibilities

Business Performance
● Identify growth levers and push them to closure.
● Manage internal and external stakeholders relationships for pricing, rules and
escalations.
● Ensure product updates and underwriting changes are reflected in the category plan.
Cross-Team Execution
● Align Product, Tech, Growth, Tele-assist & Ops on category priorities.
● Track dependencies, remove blockers, and ensure timely releases.
● Run structured weekly check-ins with clear owners & timelines.
Funnel & Journey Improvement
● Analyse drop-offs across quote → checkout → issuance.
● Work with functional PMs (Journey/UX, Tele-assist, Renewals) for fixes & improvements.

Lead & Demand Growth
● Partner with Growth for campaigns, CRM nudges and segmentation.
● Improve lead hygiene and tele-assist conversion efficiency.
Data & Insights
● Own daily dashboards and Prepare weekly insights and category updates for leadership.

Skills & Experience
● 2–3 years in insurance, fintech, consumer internet, or category/business roles.
● Strong coordination skills across teams; high ownership and bias for action.
● Analytical comfort (Excel/Sheets; SQL optional).
● Good communication and stakeholder management
