Wuxi Dipont School of Arts and Science, established through a partnership withKing's College School, Wimbledon and Nanjing Foreign Language School, is looking for an outstandingTeacher of IGCSE and A-Level Mathsto join our school in February 2027.

The successful candidate will teach Mathematics within our Senior School, deliveringCambridge IGCSE and International AS & A-Level Mathematics, with a focus on developing students' mathematical knowledge, problem-solving skills and examination confidence.

This is an opportunity to work with motivated students preparing for leading universities worldwide, developing theirmathematical understanding, logical reasoning, analytical thinking and ability to apply mathematical concepts to increasingly complex problems.

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this Mathematics teaching position, candidates should have:

• Degree inMathematics or a closely related field

• Recognized teaching qualification, license or certification, such asUK QTS/PGCE or an equivalent US, Canadian or Australian teaching credential

• At least3 years of relevant teaching experience

• Experience teachingMathematics at Secondary School / Senior School / Sixth Form level

• Experience teachingCambridge IGCSE and AS and/or A-Level Mathematics or a comparable examination curriculum

• Strong subject knowledge and understanding ofexamination-level Mathematics, including pure mathematics, statistics and mechanics

• Proven ability to support students of varying abilities while maintaining high academic expectations

• Experience teaching within aninternational, British or comparable Senior School environment

• Able to meet Chinese work-permit requirements

• Able to join the school inFebruary 2027

What You’ll Be Doing

• Plan and deliver engaging, academically rigorousCambridge IGCSE and AS & A-Level Mathematics lessons

• Develop students' understanding ofalgebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, statistics and mathematical problem-solving

• Build students' confidence inlogical reasoning, analytical thinking and applying mathematical concepts to unfamiliar problems

• Differentiate teaching to challenge high-achieving students while providing effective support for learners with different needs

• Prepare students effectively forCambridge IGCSE and International AS & A-Level Mathematics examinations

• Use assessment, targeted feedback and student performance data to monitor progress and support strong academic outcomes

• Encourage mathematical curiosity, independent learning and a positive attitude towards challenging mathematical concepts

• Contribute to the wideracademic, pastoral and co-curricular life of the school
