Manufacturing Technician - Cartridge Assembly

Pay Range:
$20.00 - $23.65Position Summary:
The qualified individual will be responsible for various aspects of product assembly and testing. The successful candidate will have a proven ability to assemble and use complex instruments and assemblies. Some of the major areas of responsibility are, but not limited to the following.
Key Responsibilities:
Visually inspect, assemble, and test cartridges or sub-assemblies using approved assembly procedures.
Able to follow all work instructions and procedures and record all production information as required
Ability to use a computer to perform tests, download information or record test data.
Ability to work with a microscope for extended periods of time
Able to use and maintain hand tools and various types of equipment to assemble and test cartridges
Good hand-eye coordination, stable hands for delicate component assembly
Comply with gowning protocols as required and maintain a clean, orderly, and organized work area.
Job Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Attention to detailÂ
Good communication skills (written and oral)
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience working with Gas Chromatography (GC) Columns or microfluidics assembly a plus
Experience in electronic or medical device assembly a plus
