Workshop Manager

Key Responsibilities 

• Coordinating with operations on fleet requirement on daily basis
• Coordinating with Branch workshop for daily requirements on fleet maintenance.
• Ensuring timely availability of fleet required for operations.
• Coordinating with Workshop staff /team for day to day activities
• Coordinating with stores for spare parts
• Ensuring timelines are met to recover the standby and break down vehicles.
• Estimate on accidental vehicles and coordinating with Insurance /Finance for submission for same.
• Preparing repair estimates on the standby vehicles to get them repaired and put back to operations.
• Plans on complete overhaul maintenance on running fleet vehicles periodically for maintaining upkeep of vehicles.
• Motivating and Appreciating the staff towards achieving the given task (By proposing and giving special incentives)
• Responsible for job allocation and job flow in the workshop including job scheduling and labour allocation for day to day operations.
• Any other jobs assigned from time to time

Skills and Experience:

• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with people at various levels junior to senior management
• Can look beyond the initial customer enquiry and identify other business opportunities
• CAD drawing skills are an advantage but not essential
• Project management experience
• People management skills
• Computer literacy with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel
• Quality and productivity focused
