🔧 Position Details

Role: Experienced Custom Tailor

Pay Rate

•$45–$55+ per hour, based on experience and technical skill
• Compensation may exceed $50 per hour for highly experienced tailors

🏡 Housing & Relocation Support

• Housing is not directly provided
• Assistance finding or coordinating housing may be available for qualified candidates
• Local candidates within approximately 60 miles of Naples are preferred
• Qualified candidates from other Florida areas or elsewhere in the U.S. may also be considered

📋 Job Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality custom tailoring on suits and luxury garments
• Construct and tailor complete suits from start to finish
• Shorten and lengthen suit jacket sleeves while respecting technical construction limits
• Work with functional and finished buttonholes
• Create and repair hand-finished buttonholes
• Perform structural alterations to shoulders, collars, sleeves, and jackets
• Tailor men’s and/or women’s garments according to individual measurements and specifications
• Maintain exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail
• Deliver work appropriate for a high-end, professional clientele

📋 Job Requirements

• Proven professional experience incustom suit tailoring required
• Experience must go beyond standard ready-to-wear alterations
• Strong knowledge of traditional tailoring and garment-construction techniques
• Ability to work on a complete suit from beginning to completion
• Experience with working buttonholes and hand-finished details
• Experience altering shoulders, collars, sleeves, and other structural areas
• Ability to sew men’s clothing, women’s clothing, or both; area of specialization should be clearly identified
• Functional/professional English required for effective workplace and customer communication
• Experience with luxury or recognized tailoring retailers is highly valued
• Traditional, artisan, or family-based tailoring experience is also highly valued
• No formal “Master Tailor” certification is required; technical ability will be evaluated during the interview process
• Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and craftsmanship required
