We work at the task level, not the job-title level;understanding what people actually do, where AI and automation change it, and what that means for skills, roles, mobility and organisation design. We help clients build talent strategy that defines how to access, create and unlock the potential of their workforce; we help them become Skills-Driven Organisations, with skills as the connective tissue between roles, career paths and business strategy; and we build the Strategic Workforce Planning capability that keeps the workforce aligned to where the business is going, not where it's been.
This spans strategy through delivery,from diagnosing where AI is redistributing work across an enterprise, to designing the skills architecture and workforce plans that respond to it, to standing up the mobility, career and capability systems that make the change stick — and pairing workforce reinvention with the AI-powered learning that equips people with the skills and confidence to succeed in their transformed roles.

In our team you will:
Lead work across the full Talent & Workforce gamut: talent strategy, Skills-Driven Organisation transformation, Strategic Workforce Planning, skills architecture and talent mobility, for clients navigating the biggest shift in how work gets done in a generation. You will work at the highest level, advising CEOs and CHROs on decisions that will shape their organisations for years to come, and build a depth of expertise at the intersection of AI, workforce strategy and learning that very few consultants anywhere in the world can match.
In this role you will:
• Advise senior client stakeholders on how AI is changing work at the task level, and translate the implications into clear choices on skills, roles, organisation design, capacity and investment
• Lead the design and delivery of Talent & Workforce engagements across talent strategy, Skills-Driven Organisation transformation, Strategic Workforce Planning, skills architecture and talent mobility
• Own key client relationships and act as a trusted adviser, challenging established thinking, aligning stakeholders and sustaining momentum from strategy through implementation
• Shape talent strategies that define the skills clients have, the skills they need and the interventions required to close gaps at pace
• Lead Skills-Driven Organisation transformation, setting the direction for skills architecture and integrating skills into roles, career paths, workforce planning and mobility
• Lead Strategic Workforce Planning, translating business strategy and workforce supply-and-demand insight into prioritised, actionable workforce plans
• Oversee the use of AI-powered diagnostics and modelling to identify how work is changing, assure the quality of analysis and turn findings into executive-level recommendations and delivery roadmaps
• Mobilise and manage multidisciplinary delivery teams, setting direction, managing scope, quality, risks, dependencies and outcomes across complex programmes
• Coach and develop Analysts and Consultants through day-to-day leadership, feedback, mentoring and meaningful development opportunities
• Support clients to redesign ways of working, governance and leadership behaviours needed to realise value from human and AI collaboration
• Advise clients on the technology ecosystem that underpins workforce transformation, including workforce planning platforms, skills infrastructure and AI-powered diagnostic tools
• Identify and progress business development opportunities, shape propositions and solutions, and lead or contribute to bids, proposals, client presentations and commercial discussions
• Contribute to the growth of the Talent & Workforce practice through capability building, recruitment, community leadership, thought leadership and market eminence
• Create market-relevant Talent & Workforce points of view, articles and offerings that strengthen Accenture’s position in AI-led workforce transformation
Desirable experience:
• Demonstrable experience leading client-facing work across one or more of: talent strategy, Skills-Driven Organisation design, Strategic Workforce Planning, or workforce/organisation transformation
• Experience managing complex workstreams or programmes, including teams, senior stakeholders, scope, quality, risks and delivery outcomes
• Experience using data-driven, AI-enabled diagnostics or workforce modelling to inform strategic recommendations and investment decisions
• Ability to translate workforce insight into compelling executive narratives, practical roadmaps and client-ready delivery
• Experience developing people through coaching and performance support, and contributing to proposals, business development or practice growth
Health & Public Service overlay (attach only when hiring against H&PS pipeline — not part of the core JD):
• Experience leading talent, workforce or skills transformation for NHS, DHSC/ALBs, local government or blue-light services
• Experience navigating public sector delivery constraints — procurement/commercial models, programme governance, benefits realisation, assurance and auditability
• Understanding of clinical and non-clinical role structures, regulated professions, rota patterns and large-scale change adoption in healthcare/public service contexts
• Understanding of public sector information governance and data protection expectations, including UK GDPR and secure-by-design working
• Holds, or willing to obtain, UK government security clearance (BPSS; SC where required)
