Design Engineer – Firefighting Systems

Job Summary:
We are looking for aDesign Engineer – Firefighting Systems with strong experience in the design and engineering of fire protection systems. The candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed firefighting designs, calculations, drawings, and technical documentation in compliance withNFPA standards and UAE Civil Defense requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design fire protection systems includingsprinkler, hydrant, hose reel, fire pump, and foam systems.

• Prepare hydraulic calculations, equipment selection, and technical specifications.

• Developshop drawings, design drawings, and as-built drawings using AutoCAD/Revit.

• Review project specifications, drawings, and BOQ requirements.

• Coordinate with project, estimation, MEP, and site teams.

• Ensure designs comply withNFPA standards, UAE Fire & Life Safety Code, and Civil Defense requirements.

• Attend technical meetings and coordinate with consultants and clients.

• Support material submittals, authority approvals, and technical queries.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree/Diploma inMechanical Engineering or related field.

• Minimum3–5 years of experience in firefighting system design.

• Strong knowledge ofNFPA standards and fire protection systems.

• Proficiency inAutoCAD; Revit/BIM knowledge is an advantage.

• UAE/GCC experience and Civil Defense approval experience will be an advantage.
