The role:
The Immigration and Mobility Specialist is responsible for managing end-to-end immigration and mobility support for employees and their dependents across the Middle East. The role ensures employees have the appropriate documentation and support in place of work legally in their assigned location, while helping the firm remain compliant with local immigration requirements.

The role also supports temporary and permanent employee moves into, out of, and between offices across the region, coordinating immigration, relocation, and mobility requirements to provide smooth employee experience.

What your day will look like:
Ā
From an HR Operations perspective:
Ā
- Manage end-to-end immigration and mobility processes for employees and their dependents, including visa applications, work permits, renewals, cancellations and related government requirements
- Act as a trusted advisor to employees, providing guidance on immigration processes, documentation requirements, timelines and compliance obligations
- Coordinate immigration onboarding, renewals and offboarding activities, ensuring a seamless employee experience and compliance with local regulations
- Maintain accurate immigration records and track visa expiries, proactively managing renewals and employee communications
- Liaise with government authorities, external providers and internal stakeholders to facilitate immigration, relocation and mobility activities
- Support international relocations and temporary assignments, coordinating immigration, travel and relocation requirements where applicable
- Partner closely with HR, Talent Acquisition, Finance and business stakeholders to support employee lifecycle activities and mobility initiatives
- Keep abreast of changes in immigration legislation and processes, ensuring policies and practices remain compliant and up to date
- Managing pension related matters for GCC employees (GPSSA, Abu Dhabi pension fund, and GOSI)Ā
- Act as the main point of contact for new hires from offer acceptance through to joining, coordinating immigration and onboarding activities with internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth and timely employee experience
- Prepare immigration-related documentation, employee letters and certificates as required
- Support wider HR operations projects and initiatives as needed

From a Talent Acquisition perspective:
Ā
- Support the Talent Acquisition Manager with candidate sourcing and screening across a range of roles and markets
- Review applications and CVs against agreed role requirements and identify suitable candidates for further consideration
- Conduct initial candidate screening calls and provide clear, structured feedback and screening notes to Hiring Managers
- Support with interview coordination and scheduling, liaising with candidates and Hiring Managers to arrange interviews efficiently
- Assist with candidate communication and follow-up throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a positive candidate experience
- Support the preparation and administration of candidate assessments, including coordinating completion and tracking outcomes
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate and recruitment records in Workday and other relevant TA systems
- Support with job postings and recruitment administration, including internal and external advertising
- Assist with talent mapping and proactive sourcing for current and anticipated hiring needs
- Provide general recruitment coordination and administrative support to the Talent Acquisition team as required

The team:
This role sits within the Human Resources team in the UAE and reports to the Senior HR Manager, based in Dubai. The HR team supports employees and the business across the Middle East, providing guidance and operational support across a range of people-related matters.

The Immigration and Mobility Specialist will work closely with the wider HR team and key stakeholders across the region, supporting employee immigration and mobility requirements and helping facilitate the smooth movement of talent into, out of, and across Fragomenās Middle East offices.

What we are looking for:
Essential criteria and preferred skills:
Ā
- Minimum of three yearsā experience in HR, mobility, and immigration, preferably within a global organisation
- Strong knowledge of immigration law in the UAE and preferably in the other MEA locations
- A strong, collaborative communicator - verbal and written
- An Arabic speaker is strongly preferred but not essential
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- A proactive and curious mindset, with the motivation to identify and implement process improvements
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand key financial metrics and the wider operational impact of immigration and mobility activities
- Flexible and resilient, with a positive and solutions-focused approach to challenges
