Employee in this position will be responsible of Control Panels hardware detailed design for Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine, Compressors and process Plant for the Oil&Gas industry.  He/She will be responsible for engineering activities relevant to hardware detail design either for Customer projects or standardization tasks and validation of the relevant solution. He/She will interact with a team of multiple disciplines engineers (control system, software, configuration & test, electrical, instrumentation, systems), manufacturing and materials management for job requirement and ensure on time delivery with highest Quality.

As Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Leading and executing detailed hardware engineering activities for Control Panels used in gas turbines, steam turbines, compressors, and industrial process applications.
• Developing and validating electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, 3D panel layouts, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and related technical documentation using engineering design tools such as EPLAN and Pro Panel.
• Driving engineering activities throughout the entire product lifecycle, from concept development and design through validation, release, and lifecycle support.
• Contributing to hardware standardization initiatives aimed at improving quality, delivery performance, cost competitiveness, and engineering productivity.
• Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including Controls, Software, Configuration & Test, Electrical, Instrumentation, Systems Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain.
• Reviewing and approving technical documentation, design packages, calculations, and hardware solutions to ensure compliance with customer requirements, applicable standards, and company guidelines.
• Leading and supporting design reviews, risk assessments, technical audits, and validation activities.
• Providing technical leadership and support during manufacturing, assembly, pre-FAT, and FAT activities, ensuring the timely resolution of technical issues and non-conformities.
• Partnering with Procurement and Suppliers to optimize component selection, support sourcing strategies, and achieve design-to-cost objectives.
• Supporting new product introduction (NPI) programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Representing Hardware Engineering as the technical focal point in customer, supplier, and internal project meetings.
• Providing technical support during installation, commissioning, and field-service activities when required.

Fuel your passion 

To be successful in this role you will: 

• Bachelor Degree or Master Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Telecomm or Computer Science Engineering 

• At least 4 additional years of experience in control system Hardware/software design in the Oil & Gas or Industrial Automation area for new installation and service. 

• Experience on design with ePlan and ProPanel (wiring diagram, 3D construction drawing, etc.), design for manufacturing and testing experience. Working knowledge of industry codes and standards. 

• Computer proficiency (MS Office tools, Control SW development tools and Enterprise Systems); 

• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills; 

• Ability to work in multi-cultural team within a matrix organization and ability to influence and motivate others; 

• Organization, planning and leadership skills. Capability of project outsourcing management and supplier management; 

• Extremely motivated and determined; Ability and willingness to travel when required. 

• Fluency in English required, Hungarian not essential. EU Work Permit;  

• Familiarity with BH products and applications would be beneficial. 
  

Desired requirements 

• Speedtronic MKV/MKVI/MKVIe control system hardware and software design, development and implementation experience. 

• PLC hardware selection and software knowledge. Experience of Bently Nevada hardware and software products. Technical exposure with Fire-Fighting and Gas Detection Systems. 

• Control System commissioning and start-up practice;  

• Troubleshooting skills including hardware, software and networking. 

• Ability to support multiple projects simultaneously in a matrix management environment. Must work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines 

• Good interpersonal skills, is accessible and approachable, and a proven team builder. 

• Strong technical aptitude, including applicable engineering tools and systems; 

• Strong oral and written communication skills. Solid interpersonal and leadership skills; 

• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, as needed. 

• Green Belt qualification (BH employees only).
