JOB SUMMARY:Ā MCSG Technologies is seeking a CAD/PLM Systems Administrator in support of lab and IT operations at NASA GSFC. The candidate will provide operational and technical support for CAD/PLM systems including but not limited to: Creo, Windchill, Creo View, SolidWorks, and related third party applications. This includes support for software installation, configuration, maintenance, emergency repairs, and data backup/retention.Ā Work Schedule:Ā Hybrid with 2-3 days onsite.Ā Location: Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, MD

PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Provides front line support for all CAD/PLM systems and related inquiries.
- Provide technical support to end users via an incident ticketing system, periodic technical tips, basic training courses, and advanced seminars.
- Maintain the infrastructure for CAD/PLM systems including but not limited to: standard formats, part/assembly/drawing template models, standard part libraries, materials libraries, access requests, and model release workflows.
- Provide software development and testing support for NASA custom applications such as MassPro, Engineering App Launcher, Engineering App Store, NASA Engineering App Tracker, Project Access Management System, Cache Recovery Tool, and Task Tracker.Ā
- Assists with special projects for evaluating, deploying, and upgrading CAD/PLM systems to newer versions and implementing new CAD/PLM systems technologies.
- Provides technical consultation to projects standardizing their Configuration Management (CM) activities in Windchill.
- Troubleshoots system issues by reproducing problems, engaging technical support when necessary, verifying remedies, and documenting results.
- Approves and certifies Creo and SolidWorks hardware libraries, formats, custom material definitions, and start parts.
- Troubleshoots Creo and SolidWorks issues by reproducing problems, contacting the vendor when needed, verifying suggested remedies, and documenting results.
- Maintains the Creo, SolidWorks, and Windchill website, splash screen, and knowledge base.
- Establishes, maintains, and verifies adherence to GSFC procedures and guidelines.
- Provides general system administrator support as needed within ETD.
- Assists with managing ETDās license server and engineering applications as needed within ETD.
- Provides support with servers, virtual machines, hardware, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and other duties as assigned as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in infrastructure maintenance for CAD/PLM systems.
- Experience with SysAid and similar user ticketing systems.
- Experience leading CAD/PLM training and seminars.
- Knowledge of configuration management.
- Must be able to acquire elevated user privileges in compliance with Federal standards for access to government systems.
- Effective issue triage and troubleshooting skills to resolve technical problems quickly.
- Ability to innovate and propose alternative solutions to resolve issues.
- Team and customer-focused, strong work ethic, adaptable to change, able to multitask and work in a cooperative environment with shared responsibilities.
- Possess strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience in executing required job duties in a dynamic environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Design experience with Creo or SolidWorks Ā
- Advanced knowledge of CAD administration (eg. Mapkeys, formats, start parts)
- Experience troubleshooting CAD to Windchill integration issues
- Familiarity with managing and troubleshooting CAD Workers
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineer, Software Engineering, Management of Information Technology, Mechanical Engineer or other related disciplines.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:Ā 3 years of experience in providing operational and technical support for CAD/PLM systems.Ā
Ā
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:BA/BS or higher preferred, in Computer Science, Computer Engineer, Software Engineering, Management of Information Technology, Mechanical Engineer or other related disciplines or equivalent experience.

SECURITY CLEARANCE:Ā Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to pass NASA badging and onboarding requirements in accordance with applicable federal security policies.Ā
