Job Summary:
This role is critical to the Validated team, responsible for turning integrated technology strategies into field-credible, evidence-backed proof. You will independently build and validate complex lab environments that mirror real-world customer deployments across networking, security, cloud, and AI. By testing these cross-portfolio solutions, you will identify integration gaps and translate your findings into trusted reference architectures and deployment guides for sales teams, partners, and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead technical validation workstreams for integrated, cross-portfolio solutions to ensure they are repeatable and supportable.
- Build, configure, test, and troubleshoot complex lab environments that accurately reflect real-world customer deployment scenarios.
- Execute rigorous validation plans, capture evidence, identify integration gaps, and document repeatable outcomes.
- Translate technical lab findings into highly trusted, field-facing assets (such as reference architectures and deployment guides).
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (Product Managers, Architects, and field teams) to ensure validation work remains technically credible and field-relevant.
- Support and mentor earlier-career engineers and external partners on lab best practices and troubleshooting approaches.
- 7+ years of hands-on engineering experience designing, configuring, and troubleshooting complex enterprise networking, security, or data center environments.
- Proven lab validation expertise, with the ability to independently build, test, and break complex, multi-product lab environments from scratch.
- Strong technical writing skills, with demonstrated experience translating technical lab findings into field-facing deployment guides, reference architectures, or proof-of-concept (PoC) documentation.
