Systems Analyst :: Tallahassee, FL

Scope of Services:

Seeking for a System analyst to support software development, document business processes, and enhance efficiency. Assist in process redesign, development, and testing. Ensure adherence to software development standards. Work on financial systems, re-engineering, and large cross-functional application projects.

Experience:

• Minimum 7 years as a lead developer or development manager.
• 2.5 years with development technologies, including Azure SQL, SQL Server, Oracle databases, or similar.
• Highly desired: Microsoft Visual Studio/.NET.

Primary Job Duties/Tasks:

• Develop and manage applications for complex financial processes.
• Guide quality assurance from inception to production.
• Identify and resolve issues using troubleshooting tools and teamwork.
• Drive continuous improvement and standardization of processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for high-standard project delivery.
• Stay updated on software development trends and methodologies.

Job Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

• Proficiency in relational databases and SQL.
• Preferred knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio/.Net, ORMs, Entity Framework, and n-Hibernate.
• Experience in software systems for financial business processes.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Conduct complex systems analysis and translate requirements into solutions.
• Effectively communicate and lead development teams.
• Display professionalism with management and staff.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
