Systems Analyst - Milwaukee County, WI - Contract - $32-42 Per HR

The position is a contract role located in Milwaukee County, WI, focusing on hardware-centric IT asset management. Responsibilities include maintaining an accurate inventory of physical technology assets using a generic asset management tool. The role requires strong skills in IT asset management processes, data accuracy, and asset lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct physical walkthroughs to locate and validate IT hardware.
• Reconcile discrepancies between physical hardware and asset records.
• Maintain real-time accuracy of device locations and manage equipment movements.
• Support the full lifecycle of IT hardware, including deployment and retirement.
• Ensure accurate asset relationships in the asset management database.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in IT Asset Management, including lifecycle activities.
• 5+ years of experience in ensuring data accuracy and asset associations.
• 5+ years of experience in developing and documenting IT asset management processes.
• Experience in reporting and data retention is a plus.
• Must be a current Wisconsin resident.
