Systems Analyst

About the role
Globalpundits is hiring a Systems Analyst for a multi-year technology program with a client in the regulated energy sector. You'll independently gather and document business and technical requirements and analyze current-state processes and systems. You'll translate requirements into functional specifications for the team's application stack: Maximo and SSIS, NextAxiom, or corporate business applications, depending on the team.
What you'll do
- Gather and document business and technical requirements with limited supervision
- Analyze current-state processes and systems and identify gaps and improvement opportunities
- Translate requirements into clear functional specifications for development and configuration teams
- Facilitate requirements sessions with business stakeholders and technical teams
- Support testing by tracing requirements to test cases and validating that solutions meet specifications
- Lead specific analysis tasks or workstreams and guide junior analysts
What we're looking for
- 4–8 years of experience in business process analysis and requirements documentation
- Hands-on experience with Maximo and SSIS, NextAxiom or similar integration platforms, or corporate business applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working across cross-functional business and technical teams
- Experience writing functional specifications, process maps and use cases or user stories
