Job Description:
The client is seeking for supports and manages enterprise technology operations for DTW and YIP airports. We are seeking a qualified Systems Administrator (Engineer) to install, manage, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise compute, storage, virtualization, cloud, and desktop environments.
Key Responsibilities

• Implement and support infrastructure projects aligned with Technology Services goals.
• Manage and support enterprise system architecture (compute, storage, virtualization, cloud).
• Provide 24x7x365 support for enterprise hardware and software.
• Create and maintain SOP documentation.
• Produce reports and metrics for performance and capacity planning.
• Execute preventive maintenance activities.
• Provide technical guidance to staff and contractors.
• Perform data center support tasks, including rack and stack.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field OR
• High School Diploma with at least 2 years of enterprise infrastructure experience, in addition to minimum qualifications.

Minimum Qualifications

• 1–2+ years experience with:
  • Windows Server 2019/2022 and Windows Desktop OS
  • Active Directory
  • Physical server and storage platforms (Dell PowerEdge, Client ProLiant; Compellent, Pure, DataDomain)
  • VMware ESXi, vCenter, vSphere
• Working knowledge of:
  • Microsoft 365 user management and Defender (or equivalent)
  • Azure services (Azure AD, basic governance)
  • Exchange (Online or On-Prem)
  • Backup and recovery solutions (Veeam or similar)
  • SCCM or Intune (basic familiarity)
  • PowerShell fundamentals
• Strong troubleshooting skills, teamwork mindset, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with vSAN, Wasabi Cloud, Azure Co-Pilot AI, PKI/Certificate Authorities, and Disaster Recovery.
• Familiarity with tools such as ServiceNow, SolarWinds, ManageEngine, Recast, Adobe.
• Knowledge of security practices, Oracle Cloud, Linux, DevOps, containers, and emerging technologies (AI/ML, IoT).
• Relevant industry certifications (Microsoft, VMware, Pure Storage, Dell, Veeam).
