Position Overview

We are seeking aSystems Administrator / IT Operations Engineer to support high-volume operational workflows and infrastructure management. This is a hands-on systems administration role focused on Linux administration, IT operations, troubleshooting, and runbook-driven execution. The ideal candidate should have strong computer systems fundamentals, experience working from the Linux command line, and the ability to investigate operational issues beyond documented procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage high-volume daily ticket queues and operational requests.
• Execute and monitor internal repair and operational tooling.
• Run queries, clear operational backlogs, and maintain system health.
• Investigate and resolve escalated operational issues.
• Monitor infrastructure and ensure platform stability and availability.
• Execute standard operating procedures (SOPs) and operational runbooks.
• Troubleshoot system issues and identify root causes when documentation is incomplete.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to resolve infrastructure-related issues.
• Maintain operational documentation and continuously improve existing runbooks.
• Support GitHub organization administration, repository configuration, and permission management where required.

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience withLinux Administration.
• Hands-on experience working from theLinux Command Line.
• Experience inSystems Administration orIT Operations.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing ticket queues and operational workflows.
• Experience following and improving runbooks and standard operating procedures.
• Solid understanding of computer systems fundamentals.
• Ability to work independently and investigate issues beyond documented procedures.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Organization administration
  • Repository configuration
  • Permissions management
• Experience withTerraform.
• Experience supporting cloud-based infrastructure and operational environments.
• Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring and operational support best practices.
