Contract:Casualworker contract/Hours-as and when required by mutual agreement

We currently have vacancies for casual worker catering staff  at our residential centre,Lendrick Muir. 

 

Purpose: 

Working as part of the Catering team, you willassistin fulfilling all catering requirements of the Centre including preparation, cooking and baking and service for school groups, weekend groups and various meetings/functions. In addition, the role will include cleaning andmaintaining kitchens to a high standard and induction of self-catered groups. 

 

KeyResponsibilities: 

 

  • Toassist with delivering busy catering preparation and service sessions. 
  • To support the team with certain aspects of the catering function for catered groups 
  • Toassist with the preparation of kitchens for self-catering groups. 
  • Tocomply with food safety legislation and internal policies, thereby ensuringhigh standards of cleanliness and equipment of all kitchens 

 

Who we are looking for: 

We are seeking applicants who enjoy working alongside othersand who are committed to providing a high standard of guest service.Applicants for this post should have experience in catering and be able to work on their own initiative. You willmost likely have undergone some catering training, hold food hygiene certification and have worked in the hospitality industry, but this is not essential. Some evening and weekend work may berequired. 

 

The successful applicant willbe required to become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Scheme and the appointment will be subject to a satisfactory PVG Scheme Disclosure.
