Assembly Worker

1st Shift:$18.00/hr, 6:00am-6:00pm 

3rd Shift:$19.00/hr, 6:00pm-6:00am 

We are hiring multiple dependable Assembly Workers to join a growing manufacturing team in Streetsboro, Ohio.

This is a full-time, entry-level-friendly opportunity with12-hour rotating shifts. Previous manufacturing or assembly experience is preferred but not required. Training may be available for qualified candidates.

Job Summary

The Assembly Worker is responsible for assembling plastic parts and subassemblies used to produce consumer products. Employees will perform a variety of production, assembly, trimming, inspection, and packaging duties while maintaining quality and production standards.

Employees may rotate between different workstations based on production needs and will work as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble plastic parts and components according to specifications.
• Position parts correctly and fasten components using screws, bolts, snaps, and other methods.
• Work on an assembly line and complete assigned production tasks.
• Trim excess plastic or mold material using hand tools and cutting tools.
• Use a torch to reduce or eliminate minor cosmetic defects such as scratches, trim marks, and white haze.
• Visually inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Assemble and prepare boxes for finished products.
• Gather and organize packaging supplies.
• Stretch-wrap completed product bundles.
• Rotate between workstations as production needs require.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout the shift.
• Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures.
• Meet established production requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply.
• Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, or warehouse experience is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to follow basic written and verbal instructions.
• Basic reading and math skills.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to multitask and work at different production stations.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability and willingness to learn to use hand and power tools.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Frequent use of hands and fingers for assembly and production tasks.
• Ability to reach, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and bend.
• Ability to occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to perform repetitive assembly and production tasks.
• Ability to visually inspect products for quality and defects.

Work Environment

• Fast-paced manufacturing and production environment.
• Frequent exposure to heat.
• Occasional exposure to moving mechanical equipment, fumes, or airborne particles.
• Noise levels may be loud.
• Employees must follow all applicable workplace safety procedures and PPE requirements.
