About the Department: Located on the Moross Road campus, our department serves Detroit's east side and the Grosse Pointes, a vibrant community with deep neighborhood roots. Surrounded by lakefront parks and historic architecture, our team is a cornerstone of healthcare in this area. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional medical equipment maintenance and clinical engineering services, ensuring the highest standards of patient care. Our location offers an easy commute along the Detroit River corridor, close to some of the city's most desirable neighborhoods.

Role Overview: As the Supv-Clinical Engineering, you will lead and oversee all lease back Clinical Engineering operations across multiple sites. Your role is critical in ensuring a quality, cost-effective medical equipment maintenance program that meets or exceeds customer expectations. You will supervise technical work, manage staff, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve equipment-related issues, all while maintaining high customer service standards.

What You Will Do:

• Supervise day-to-day technical aspects of work, quality of services, and preventive maintenance completion.
• Dispatch assignments for repair requests and schedule staff coverage, including callback.
• Oversee the implementation of management directives and initiatives.
• Assist in system planning, budget preparation, and technology assessment.
• Coordinate the design, construction, and implementation of installations and special projects.
• Ensure compliance with medical device regulatory standards, including TJC, CMS, DNV, OSHA, and EPA.

Required Qualifications:

• At least three to five (3-5) years of progressively more responsible experience in biomedical or clinical engineering.
• Valid driver's license.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Associates degree in clinical engineering.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Preferred Bachelors of Science in Biomedical Engineering or equivalent with courses in Biomedical or Clinical Engineering.
