Job Responsibilities

• Maintains cleanliness of department(s).
• Maintains orderly physical environment.
• Maintains par levels of all identified supplies, restocking patient room supplies and carts.
• Cleans and restocks all unit-specific equipment as needed.
• Provides support services for patient needs.
• Provides liaison for food/nutrition services.
• Maintains quality control.
• Complies with all safety-related policies and procedures.
• Practices customer service skills to both internal and external customers.
• Completes daily responsibilities and special projects in a timely manner.
• Changes out linen bags a minimum of every shift and more often as indicated.
• Maintains department refrigerators and freezers, logs temperatures, defrosts as needed, and cleans daily.
