The Opportunity:

The Supply Technician supports shipyard production and Fleet requirements through comprehensive material management, logistics coordination, and configuration management activities. This role ensures the accurate handling, movement, tracking, and documentation of materials and equipment across multiple naval programs, including Los Angeles‑ and Virginia‑class projects. The position requires safe operation of forklifts and material‑handling equipment, as well as the ability to interpret technical documentation and use Navy logistics systems.

Responsibilities:


• Manage receipt, issue, storage, movement, and shipment of materials and equipment supporting shipyard production and Fleet requirements.
• Operate forklifts and handle hazardous materials safely while maintaining accurate material records and inventory accountability.
• Research, track, and process materiel transactions using Navy logistics systems, resolving logistical issues through analysis and corrective action.
• Interpret engineering drawings, variance documents, and revision notices to align logistics actions with technical and configuration requirements.
• Coordinate closely with engineering, supply chain, production teams, and program stakeholders to ensure material readiness and schedule alignment.

Qualifications:

Required:
• 5+ years of experience with submarine and/or deep submergence systems.
• Experience with U.S. Navy material ordering, logistics processes, shipping/receiving, and transaction workflows.
• Experience with Navy logistics systems: SCLSIS, CDMD‑OA, NSLC, One Touch, LogiQuest, FedMall, etc.
• Ability to read/interpret engineering drawings, TVDs, and RNs.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite.
• Active Secret clearance.

Desired:
• Technical training equivalent to an Associate’s degree.
• Experience with Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and component specifications.
• Configuration Management experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently or in teams.
• High attention to detail and consistency.

Pay Range:

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$75,200 - 158,100 USD
