Supply Planner

Position Summary

Our client is seeking aSupply Planner to lead supply planning activities and ensure optimal inventory availability, efficient replenishment, and alignment between demand forecasts and manufacturing execution. This role is responsible for translating demand signals into actionable supply plans while balancing service levels, inventory targets, and operational efficiency.

What You'll Do

• Lead daily supply planning activities to ensure accurate and timely replenishment across the region.
• Convert demand forecasts into supply plans that balance customer service, inventory levels, and operational costs.
• Monitor supply constraints, production capacity, and material availability, adjusting plans as needed.
• Communicate supply risks, shortages, and mitigation strategies to key stakeholders.
• Manage consignment inventory and ensure optimal stock availability across customer and partner locations.
• Establish and maintain safety stock strategies based on demand variability, lead times, and service requirements.
• Develop and execute replenishment plans to position inventory effectively and support customer demand.
• Monitor inventory health, identify excess or slow-moving inventory, and implement corrective actions.
• Partner closely with Demand Planning teams to understand forecast changes, demand drivers, and business priorities.
• Support sales and operations planning activities by providing supply insights, recommendations, and constraint analysis.
• Collaborate with manufacturing facilities to ensure production schedules align with supply plans and customer requirements.
• Participate in production and scheduling meetings to prioritize critical orders and manage changing business needs.
• Lead hotlist and priority order discussions, ensuring critical customer commitments are tracked and resolved.
• Coordinate with logistics and operations teams to expedite shipments and resolve supply challenges when necessary.
• Provide visibility into order status, inventory risks, and recovery plans for key stakeholders.
• Analyze planning performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve service levels and inventory efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on planning accuracy, inventory optimization, and cost reduction.
• Support reporting, analytics, and system enhancements that improve supply chain visibility and effectiveness.
