Summary:
The Supply Management Specialist is responsible for coordinating and managing supply chain activities to ensure efficient operations. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver expected results while maintaining strong supplier relationships.
Responsibilities
- Lead teams or manage projects involving multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate on project teams across various disciplines and facilities.
- Utilize strong interpersonal and facilitation skills to work effectively with design engineers, suppliers, and management.
- Engage in negotiation and conflict resolution to maintain smooth operations.
- Communicate effectively through verbal and written means, including presentations and documentation.
- Prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects, adapting to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Leverage strong computer skills and systems knowledge, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in leading teams or managing projects.
- Proven ability to collaborate with project teams involving multiple disciplines.
- Strong communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
- Experience with negotiation and conflict resolution.
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with systems like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Skills
- Experience in one or more areas of Supply Management: supplier integration, strategic supply management, supplier development, material flow, tactical supply management, scheduling, forecasting, or logistics.
- Experience using SAP/PDM (workflow).
- Ability to analyze data and solve problems to achieve desired results.
- Business or engineering degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience in sourcing, cost reduction, and change management.
Pay Transparency:The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $24.66 - $27.00 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
