Supply Chain Analyst

Supply Chain Analyst - Plano, TX - Contract - $25-35 per HR

Description:

• Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments according to production schedules.
• Review and distribute production, work, and shipment schedules.
• Compile reports on inventory levels and costs.
• Analyze and evaluate product categories to identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Monitor key performance indicators and review escalations received from the field.
• Maintain inventories of materials and supplies to meet production demands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Examine documents, materials, and products to assess completeness, accuracy, and conformance to standards.
• Review production schedules and work orders to determine personnel and materials requirements.
• Record production data, including volume produced and consumption of raw materials.
• Requisition and maintain inventories of materials and supplies.
• Analyze costs related to manufacturing, labor, and materials.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, math, or a business-related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in an analytics-focused role.
• Proficient in generic office software for word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to shipping and production.
