  • Validate supplier corrective actions involving design and/or process changes to ensure they are robust, sustainable, and implemented for similar potential concerns across manufacturing lines and/or suppliers.
  • Support supply chain scope at a global level, driving steps forward and continuous improvement on the technical and cost reduction level.

What You’ll Bring

  • Degree Materials or Mechanical Engineering, or evidence of experience and exceptional ability
  • Knowledge of most used automotive materials used in electrical motor manufacturing and their use in automotive industry processes: raw material processes (rolling, annealing, coating and slitting) & downstream usages (blanking, stacking, annealing, sintering or glueing).
  • Proven leadership and project management skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and direct suppliers at management level, build strong cross-functional teams, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience in Supplier Industrialization, Customer Quality, and Product or Application Development at Raw Material producer or qualified automotive supplier
  • Knowledge of PPAP/APQP processes and automotive technical knowledge. Experience of statistical analysis, quality assessment and extended problem-solving impact capabilities.
  • Ability to investigate failure modes and impact of material properties as well as processing parameters on the final product.
  • Excellent spoken and written English
