General Labor Abatement Field Technician

Superior Environmental Services is a full-service open shop specialty service contractorproviding Asbestos Abatement, Mold & Water Damage Services, Lead Remediation, PCB Removal and Hazardous Materials handling.
 

We are looking for a reliableGeneral Labor Abatement Field Technician.You willberesponsible for removal of asbestos, mold,lead and/or other hazardous waste removal as well as some basic demolition and construction, while adhering to company policies and proceduresregarding remediation while overseeing job set-up and quality control. 

Location: Various Job siteslocated in MA, NH, RI 
 

Job Responsibilities: 

• Hazardous material containment and clean-up 
• Healthcare Facility bio-hazard clean-up 
• Asbestos removal/abatement 
• Mold Remediation 
• Lead Abatement 

Qualifications: 

• MAAsbestos worker license isrequired or ability toacquire.
   
• NH Asbestos worker license isrequired or ability toacquire.
   
• RI Asbestos worker license isrequired or ability toacquire.
   
• Prior generallabor experience is aplus. 
• Construction field experience oradditional experience in related work; lead abatement or industrial cleaning, is preferred. 

• Bilingual a plus (Spanish and/or Portuguese).
   
• Must be 18 years or older.
   
• Must be able to work in, on, around, over and under equipment and machinery.
   
• Must be able to work from lifts, ladders, and scaffolding.
   
• Must be able to lift heavy weighted materials/equipment (50 – 70+ lbs.).
   
• Must be able to work in adverse or extreme weather conditions.
   
• Must be able to wear and work in personnel protective equipment.
   
• Must have a vehicle or reliable means of transportation to and from jobsite.
   
• Must have high regard for safety in the workplace.
   
• Good attitude: must work well with others and take direction.
   
• Must be responsible and punctual.
