We are currently searching for an experienced Superintendent for an establish realtor/developer & custom home building operation based in the upper Baltimore County area. This position will assist both partners of the firm by managing communications, coordinating travel and meetings, and providing crucial administrative and financial support to ensure the seamless day-to-day operation of the firm.
The Superintendent will be responsible for the management of the construction process, overseeing all on-site construction activities, the coordination of vendors, as well as additional construction related duties

Superintendent Responsibilities will include:
  • Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation
  • Allocate resources for assigned projects
  • Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
  • Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
  • Understand the project plans and specifications prior to any scheduled work performed.
  • Manage and transmit all job site documentation
  • Maintain positive relationships with all clients, subcontractors, suppliers and other employees.
  • Proactively identify and solve problems.
  • Supervise total on-site effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget, schedule, safety and quality.
Superintendent Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a superintendent on estate sized homes greater than $1 million dollars
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), Google Drive, Sheets and Docs, BuilderTrend, or other construction software; must have strong technology and computer/internet skills, and file management
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines with a high level of integrity and confidentiality require
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal to provide a high level of customer service
