We're excited to offer you a meaningful opportunity within the renewable energy industry, specifically in the expanding fields of Photovoltaics (PV) and Energy Storage Systems (ESS). Here, you'll gain hands-on experience and develop expertise that will help transform the global energy landscape.
As an ESS & PV Solutions Engineer working student, you will support our solutions team in creating and implementing technical solutions for PV and ESS projects across Finland. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams and use a variety of engineering tools to develop innovative renewable energy and storage solutions. Let's take a closer look at your responsibilities:
- Assist in designing and optimizing technical solutions for PV and ESS projects, focusing on system configurations, energy storage integrations, and PV plant design.
- Perform simulations, analyses, and technical calculations to assess and enhance project performance.
- Support in the preparation of technical documentation, specifications, and design solutions for PV and ESS projects.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, project management, and sales teams to ensure alignment and integration of solutions.
- Contribute to technical presentations and reports, helping to communicate project progress and insights to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Currently studying for a Master's degree in Engineering, preferably in Engineering Physics, Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems, or Renewable Electricity Production.
- Interest in or foundational knowledge of PV systems, ESS, battery systems, power electronics, and renewable energy technologies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use technical software and tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and communicate technical information clearly.
- English and Finnish at a C1 level.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with CAD or other engineering design tools is beneficial.
