What You’ll Do:
As PHP SUD Therapist at Kolmac, you will be at the center of patient care—building strong therapeutic relationships and delivering high-quality, evidence-based treatment. You’ll lead therapy groups, facilitate individual and family sessions, and contribute to integrated treatment plans within our innovative outpatient, and intensive outpatient settings.Â
Clinical Responsibilities Include:Â
- Provide individual and group psychotherapy for adults in PHP levels of careÂ
- Develop and maintain person-centered, trauma-informed treatment plansÂ
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and level-of-care determinationsÂ
- Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment approaches, and symptom management to support insight and empowermentÂ
- Design and deliver engaging process, psychoeducational and skills groups focused on emotional regulation, coping skills, and mental wellnessÂ
- Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, nurses, and fellow therapists to provide integrated mental health careÂ
- Participate in treatment team meetings, case consultations, and discharge planningÂ
- Coordinate care with families, referral sources, and external providers as appropriateÂ
- Demonstrates commitment to excellent patient care, which is measured through clinical outcomes, such as patient retention, attendance, successful program completion, transitioning from IOP, OPÂ
- Complete clinical documentation accurately and timely Â
Required Qualifications:Â
- Minimum 2 years of direct clinical experience providing mental health treatmentÂ
- Master’s degree in counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related fieldÂ
- Active independent licensure:Â
- MD:Â LGADC, LGPC, LMSW, LCADC, LCPC, LCSW, LCSW-C, LPC
- Strong working knowledge of CBT, DBT, ACT, and trauma-informed care EMDR experience is highly preferredÂ
- Comfort using Electronic Medical Records (EMR)Â
- Commitment to ethical, patient-centered care and professional growthÂ
