Subsee Engineer Mozambique

ISS International S.p.A. is looking for a Subsea Engineer to join an international Oil & Gas offshore project based in Mozambique.

The opportunity is intended for aprofessional with proven experience in Subsea Engineering, Offshore Operations, Well Completion, Subsea Installation or similar roles, preferably gained within theOil & Gas, Offshore Drilling, Subsea Production or Energy sectors.

The selected candidate will support theoffshore operations team in activities related towell completion, subsea installation, Xmas Tree (XT) operations, Installation and Workover Control Systems (IWOCS), technical supervision and offshore operational monitoring.

The resource will contribute to the preparation of completion programs, supervision of offshore installation activities, coordination with contractors and multidisciplinary project teams, monitoring of operational progress, troubleshooting and verification of compliance with project specifications, company procedures and HSEQ requirements.

• Position: Subsea Engineer;

• Location: Offshore Mozambique (Rig);

• Expected Starting Date: December 2026;

• Duration: approximately 8 months;

• Working Schedule: up to 12 hours/day, 7 days/week during offshore rotation;

• Rotation: 28 days ON / 28 days OFF.

The main activities may include:

• preparation and review ofwell completion programs and offshore operational procedures;

• monitoring ofwell completion and subsea installation activities, includingXmas Tree (XT) operations through IWOCS;

• supervision and verification ofoffshore installation activities in accordance with project specifications, company procedures and HSEQ regulations;

• review and acceptance ofcontractors' daily operational reports;

• coordination and interfacing withoffshore contractors, onshore engineering teams and offshore project personnel;

• monitoring ofoperational progress, schedules and technical performance;

• identification and resolution oftechnical issues during subsea installation and well completion operations;

• provision oftechnical support and troubleshooting during offshore operations;

• preparation ofdaily reports, technical documentation and operational progress updates;

• support duringoffshore site visits, technical inspections and audits;

• tracking and benchmarking ofwell completion performance, operational efficiency and associated costs;

• preparation oftechnical studies, cost estimates and reports related to drilling, well completion and subsea infrastructure activities;

• prompt reporting and escalation ofmajor operational issues, technical deviations and HSEQ concerns.

Candidates should preferably have a Degree inSubsea Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Offshore Engineering or a related technical discipline.

Previous professional experience withSubsea Production Systems, Subsea Xmas Trees (XT), Installation and Workover Control Systems (IWOCS), Well Completion Operations, Offshore Installation, Rig Operations, Subsea Equipment and technical troubleshooting will be considered particularly relevant.

Direct offshore experience involving XT installation, IWOCS operations, well completion activities and coordination with offshore contractors will be considered a strong advantage.

The ideal candidate should have strongtechnical, analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent HSEQ awareness, attention to detail and the ability to work effectively inoffshore environments, rotational assignments and multidisciplinary international project teams.
